The invention discloses a degradable electric-insulation material which is prepared by the following steps: adding the following raw materials in parts by weight into a centrifugal machine: 50-60 parts of L-polylactic acid, 30-40 parts of bacterial cellulose, 10-20 parts of crosslinked polyethylene, 20-30 parts of halogen-containing flame-retardant material, 5-10 parts of halogen-containing flame retardant, 5-20 parts of decabromodiphenylethane, 5-15 parts of hydroxyethyl cellulose, 20-30 parts of glass fiber, 10-20 parts of starch ether, 20-30 parts of polycarbonate, 10-15 parts of polyvinyl alcohol, 20-25 parts of ethylene-propylene rubber and 5-10 parts of silane coupling agent; uniformly mixing, sending into a double screw extruder to extrude into a molten state, controlling the temperature at 180-200 DEG C, quickly injecting the molten mass into a mold by using an injection machine, and trimming in the auxiliary mold by using a cutting machine. The electric material has the advantages of excellent mechanical properties, excellent cold/heat stability, excellent flame retardancy and high biodegradability, and is hopeful to be widely used as a novel insulation material.
