The invention relates to a preparation method and application of a polyhydroxy
phosphine-
nitrogen flame retardant, the polyhydroxy
phosphine-
nitrogen flame retardant is prepared by recycling
nitrogen-containing
polyol in a thermosetting ester
epoxy / amine cured product degradation product and further reacting, and the preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) carrying out alcoholysis on a thermosetting ester
epoxy / amine cured product by using
ethylene glycol and
sodium hydroxide to obtain degradation liquid; (2) filtering the degradation liquid, carrying out rotary
evaporation to remove
ethylene glycol, aging with
ethanol to remove salt, adjusting the pH value to be neutral, and carrying out rotary
evaporation to obtain nitrogen-containing
polyol EP / N-8OH; and (3) mixing the EP / N-8OH with
triethylamine and
tetrahydrofuran, dropwise adding diphenyl phosphinyl
chloride under the protection of nitrogen, and performing treatment after reaction to obtain P, P-diphenyl phosphinic acid-3-[(5-{[bis (2, 3-dihydroxypropyl) amino] methyl}-3, 3, 5-trimethyl cyclohexyl) (2, 3-dihydroxypropyl) amino]-2-hydroxypropyl ester (polyhydroxy
phosphine nitrogen
flame retardant, DPP-P). The application method comprises the following steps: mixing DPP-P with
bisphenol A
epoxy resin E-51, a curing agent 1, 2, 3, 6-tetrahydrophthalic anhydride and a catalyst N, N-
dimethylamine, and carrying out preheating, defoaming and stepped heating curing, so that the prepared flame-retardant modified epoxy resin E51-DPP-P has good flame retardance and mechanical properties.
