The invention discloses a process for sectionally putting up ship berths or docks, which includes the following steps: A, putting up the structures below a ship cabinet area, namely a main deck on a ship berth or dock; B, putting up a first general section, a second general section, a third general section, a fourth general section and a fifth general section on the main deck, sequentially assembling and welding the same structurally, and meanwhile, carrying out pipelines of fitting-out, ventilation projects and painting an outer board of a ship generally; C, arranging temporary process hole subsections on the second general section, the third general section and the fourth general section; D, laying down the temporary process hole subsections to the ship; E, hoisting a main unit; F, lifting the temporary process hole subsections, namely inlaying subsections onto the ship and integrating the same to an original hole, and assembling and welding; and G, lifting an upper building general section on the upper portion of the third general section and the fourth general section, and structurally assembling, positioning and welding. The process for sectionally putting up ship berths or docks has the advantages that ship putting-up efficiency is improved and construction difficulty is reduced.
