The invention provides a composite ion source bipolar linear ion trap mass analyzer which is composed of an ultraviolet lamp ion source, an ion repulsion electrode, a focusing electrode, a guide electrode, a front end cap electrode, a trap fixing seat, an electron multiplier, an ion trap analyzer, a rear end cap electrode, an EI filament ion source and an electron multiplier shielding seat. The invention has a dual-mode switchable ionization mode and a bipolar operation mode, adopts a new cylindrical ion trap electrode structure, reduces the difficulty of ion trap processing, adopts a shieldeddouble-electron multiplier design, respectively receives and amplifies ions ejected from an ion trap analyzer, reduces detection noise, and improves detection sensitivity of an instrument. The invention is reasonable in design, adopts double ion gate design, is effectively compatible with soft ionization mode and hard ionization mode, is combined with chromatography or liquid phase, separates each component in the detected sample, is more favorable for qualitative and quantitative analysis of the sample by the instrument, and can be applied in soft ionization, hard ionization and bipolar detection of the substance.
