159 results about "Spodoptera litura" patented technology

Spodoptera litura, otherwise known as the tobacco cutworm or cotton leafworm, is a nocturnal moth in the family Noctuidae. S. litura is a serious polyphagous pest in Asia, Oceania, and the Indian subcontinent that was first described by Johan Christian Fabricius in 1775. Its common names reference two of the most frequent host plants of the moth. In total, 87 species of host plants that are infested by S. litura are of economic importance. The species parasitize the plants through the larvae vigorous eating patterns, oftentimes leaving the leaves completely destroyed. The moth's effects are quite disastrous, destroying economically important agricultural crops and decreasing yield in some plants completely. Their potential impact on the many different cultivated crops, and subsequently the local agricultural economy, has led to serious efforts to control the pests.

Efficient pest trapping device

The invention provides an efficient pest trapping device which comprises a sex pheromone mounting structure and a bottom ponding container. The trapping device is provided with a bracket; the bracket comprises an upper mounting ring and a lower mounting ring which are coaxial; the sex pheromone mounting structure is placed in a region defined by the upper mounting ring and lower mounting ring, and is provided with a ceiling; the ceiling is mounted on the bracket; the trapping device is also provided with 3-10 stop wing plates which are mounted on the upper mounting ring and lower mounting ring and uniformly distributed in a radial manner; and the vertical projections of the mounting rings and the stop wing plates are positioned in the bottom ponding container. The efficient pest trapping device provided by the invention is convenient to use, improves the trapping efficiency of the trapper by trapping pests based on a method combining a stop structure and a sex attraction structure, can be used for trapping and killing pests such as rice chilo suppressalis, Cnaphalocrocis medinalis, vegetable Spodoptera litura, beet armyworm, plutella xylostella, Bactrocera dorsalis and the like and for monitoring the major pests of rice, vegetables and fruit trees, and has the advantages of wide application range and good effect.

Bacillus thuringiensis YN108 with high toxicity to lepidopteran pests, culture method and application of bacillus thuringiensis YN108

The invention belongs to the technical field of microbial insecticides and particularly relates to bacillus thuringiensis YN108 with high toxicity to lepidopteran pests, a culture method and application of the bacillus thuringiensis YN108. The bacillus thuringiensis YN108 is bacillus thuringiensis subsp.aizawai and has a preservation number of CGMCC No. 15140 in the China General Microbiological Culture Collection Center (CGMCC) on January 02, 2018. The bacillus thuringiensis YN108 dislcosed by the invention has high toxicity to the lepidopteran pests, and particularly has a median lethal concentration (LC500) of only 3.25*105 cfu/ml for the 3<rd> instar larva of spodoptera litura, which is smaller than a published YN1-1 bacterial strain and a published CAB109 bacterial strain. Meanwhile, the bacillus thuringiensis YN108 is also better than a commercial bacillus thuringiensis catfish subspecies I product, an SB product and a bacillus thuringiensis catfish subspecies SL product in indoor drug efficacy and field control effect and shows excellent insecticidal activity. In addition, the bacillus thuringiensis YN108 disclosed by the invention has no residue after use, avoids drug resistance and is green and environmentally-friendly.
