angelica dahurica, and raw licorice. The matrix contains
chitosan,
polyvinyl alcohol, water, and glacial
acetic acid. The effective components of the herbal
medicine are extracted by decoction, concentrated, and freeze-dried to obtain a freeze-dried
powder. This
powder is then mixed with a
chitosan aqueous solution and cross-linked using a
liquid nitrogen cyclic freezing method to form the hydrogel. This invention closely addresses the core
pathogenesis of

toxin)"—allowing the various herbs to synergistically exert their effects of clearing heat and detoxifying, promoting
blood circulation and removing
blood stasis,
drying dampness and astringing sores, and nourishing blood and promoting tissue regeneration. The
chitosan matrix endows the hydrogel with good
biocompatibility, antibacterial properties, and sustained-release
drug properties, which can improve the microenvironment of the ulcer wound, inhibit inflammatory responses, and promote
granulation tissue growth, effectively promoting the healing of
skin sores such as
diabetic foot ulcers, and has broad application prospects.
