The USB connecting port assembly comprises a female connecting port which is matched with a male connecting port of an external connector, wherein the female connecting port comprises a master control chip, a GND pin and an ID pin; the GND pin and the ID pin are both electrically connected with the master control chip; the GND pin and the IDpin are arranged at intervals; the female connecting port further comprises an additional detecting pin which is connected with the master control chip; the additional detecting pin is positioned at the position which is close to the edge of the female connecting port; when inserted in the female connecting port, the male connecting port is in contact with the additional detecting pin; and when the master control chip receives the signal shows that the additional detecting pin is in contact with the male connecting port, the GND pin and the ID pin are controlled to energized. The invention further provides a method for detecting the USB connecting port assembly and man-machine interaction equipment. By the technical scheme, short-circuiting and electrolytic corrosion of the USB connectingport are avoided.
