This invention provides a
control system for achieving arc-free
coupling and uncoupling of trains in multiple-
unit train operation. If the stationary first
train is in a waiting-to-
coupling state and under parking braking, and receives a power-up command for the electric hook, but the electric hook is not connected, the power-up
relay is closed, connecting the
train line of the first
train to the preset control
voltage positive supply terminal, thus energizing the train line. The second train, about to be coupled to the first train, moves at
low speed, and its train line is energized. During
coupling, since the train line of the first train is already energized, the train lines of both trains have the same
voltage, resulting in arc-free coupling. If the two coupled trains are in a waiting-to-uncoupling state, and one of the driver's cabs is activated, the activation of that driver's cab is deactivated, causing the corresponding driver's cab activation
relay to open, disconnecting the train line from the preset control
voltage positive supply terminal, thus de-energizing the train line during uncoupling and achieving arc-free uncoupling.
