cascade hydropower station group participating in a day-ahead spot market. With continuous improvement of
electric power spot market construction in China, participation of water and

power grid. In order to solve the problems that a spot clearing model is complex, clearing efficiency is low, water abandoning is easily caused when water and
electricity participate in a spot market, and transaction results are difficult to execute due to complex
hydraulic connection of
cascade upstream and downstream reservoirs, day-ahead marketization boundary conditions of
cascade hydropower stations are determined, and the concept of absolute feasible electric quantity intervals of the hydropower stations is provided; the
evolution rule that the electricity boundary of the cascade hydropower
station changes along with the power generation
water volume is disclosed, the problem that upstream and downstream power stations are not matched is completely avoided, the solving efficiency of the clearing model is improved, and a feasible thought is provided for market operators to manage water and electricity to participate in the spot market.
