The invention relates to a method for regulating power of a direct-drive permanent-magnet synchronous wind generator set, which comprises the following steps of: A. acquiring the actual speed n of the generator; B. when n is less than the rated speed, executing step C, else, executing step D; C. computing the current torque given value M of the generator set, wherein when M is not greater than the rated torque, outputting M to the wind generator set, else, assigning M to the rated torque value and outputting M; D. acquiring the last M, wherein when M is smaller than the rated torque, executing step E, and when M reaches the rated torque, executing step F; E. gradually regulating the torque to the rated torque, and keeping the rotation speed at the rated speed; and F. regulating the generator set at the rated speed by using a pitch control system. The invention takes the actual air density of the wind field into account, introduces the optimal power regulation coefficient, simplifies the implementation procedure, conforms to the actual working conditions and realizes the real-time optimum efficiency of the power regulation for the wind generator set in the whole process, thereby overcoming the insufficiencies in the prior regulation method.
