The microorganisms include Talaromyces flavus, Trichoderma harzianum, Bacillus velezensis, Bacillus licheniformis, and Brevibacillus laterosporus. Through the synergistic effect of multiple microbial strains, the compound microbial inoculant of the present invention enhances the control effect against Verticillium wilt pathogens, and overcomes the shortcomings of a single biocontrol microbe, such as a single biocontrol mechanism, poor environmental adaptability, inability to colonize in soil for a long time, and unstable control effect. Furthermore, the compound microbial inoculant of the present invention can increase the yields of cotton and pepper, and improve the fiber quality of cotton. The present invention provides scientific and technological support and decision-making services for realizing green, environmentally friendly, cost—saving, and efficiency-increasing modern agriculture.
