The invention discloses an automatic
magnesium chloride discharging and
waste gas collecting device for
titanium sponge production and a production process thereof. According to the device, an
electromagnetic valve and a water ring
vacuum pump are arranged on a
waste gas conveying
pipe; a
waste gas collecting device is arranged on one end of the waste gas conveying
pipe; the outlet end of a
magnesium chloride pipe on a reactor is connected with a
magnesium chloride conveying pipe through a magnesium chloride conveying
branch pipe; a high-temperature valve is arranged on the magnesium chlorideconveying
branch pipe; and a baffle is arranged at the bottom of the magnesium chloride conveying pipe. The
discharge time of magnesium chloride is determined according to the amount of
titanium tetrachloride, when the magnesium chloride needs to be discharged by calculating, the water ring
vacuum pump is started five minutes earlier, the high-temperature valve and a pressure charging valve are opened,
argon is charged into the reactor for ten minutes, liquid magnesium chloride and
flue gas flow into the magnesium chloride conveying pipe under the action of
high pressure, the magnesium chloride flows into an electrolytic tank, and the
flue gas is pumped into the waste gas collecting device. The magnesium chloride can be automatically discharged during reduction, centralized transportationand waste gas collection are achieved,
power consumption is saved, cost is reduced, and labor environment is improved.
