The method comprises the following steps: 1) obtaining a chitosan (CHI) solution; 2) preparing a solution of aldehyde guar gum (AGG); and 3) carrying out a reaction on the solution of aldehyde guar gum with the solution of chitosan to prepare the degradable self-healing chitosan composite aldehyde guar gum hydrogel. According to the preparation method, an aldehyde group on an AGG chain and an amino group on a CHI chain are subjected to a Schiff base reaction to form an imine bond, and the CHI / AGG hydrogel is obtained by taking the imine bond as a cross-linking point. Dueto a dynamic crosslinking mechanism, the hydrogel can realize self-healing within 5 minutes and can be degraded near a neutral environment.
