The method comprises the following steps of: (1) preparing a tea polyphenol stock solution preparation: soaking tea leaves by using heated distilled water, filtering, taking a clear solution, adding the clear solution into a beer, and mixing for later use; (2) detecting the polyphenol value of a tea polyphenol stock solution sample; (3) analyzing by using a chemical automatic analyzer: editing a program, uniformly mixing reagents, putting the sample into a reaction tank from a sample inlet, and reacting and analyzing by using a detector; (4) making a standard curve: diluting the tea polyphenol stock solution sample according to a certain concentration, and making a standard curve for a detection polyphenol module of the chemical automatic analyzer; (5) pre-treating a sample: degassing, filtering or centrifuging a sample to be detected; and (6) performing detection: detecting the sample to be detected in the detector. By adopting the detection and analysis method disclosed by the invention, an unstable polyphenol detection result caused by the fact that a standard substance is not provided for making a polyphenol standard curve for the chemical automatic analyzer can be avoided, and the method has the advantages of fastness, large sample amount, accuracy, high sensitivity and the like.
