The light emitting diode drive system comprises a power conversion circuit, a pulse width modulation controller, a 2D parameter circuit, a 3D parameter circuit, a current balancing circuit and a microcontroller; the three-dimensional parameter circuit is used for outputting a three-dimensional parameter control signal when the display device is in a 3D mode, and stopping outputting the three-dimensional parameter control signal when the display device is in a 2D mode; the two-dimensional parameter circuit is connected with the three-dimensional parameter circuit; a two-dimensional parameter control signal is generated according to output of the three-dimensional parameter circuit, and the pulse width modulation controller is used for generating the pulse width modulation signal according to the output of the two-dimensional parameter circuit and the three-dimensional parameter circuit, so as to control the power conversion circuit. The invention also provides the display device. The invention encompasses the glycerol-3-phosphate acyltransferase peptides disclosed and fragments and homologues thereof, the corresponding gene sequences and fragments and homologues thereof, as well as the use of the peptide and gene sequences of the present invention for use in generating recombinant proteins, and transgenic plants with altered lipid metabolism. In this way, the present invention also encompasses the use of such recombinant peptides and transgenic plants for the production of lipid products for use, for example, in pharmaceutical and nutritional applications.
