The invention relates to the technical field of fertilizer fermentation and particularly relates to an organic fertilizer stack-type fermentation method with the mushroom dreg as a substrate. The method comprises the steps of (1) the preparation of fermentation raw materials; (2) pre-fermentation; (3) stack retting for fermentation; (4) crushing and screening; (5) subsequent decomposition and fermentation process. Based on the above method, the prepared organic fertilizer is high in decomposition degree, free of obvious odor, high in nutrient content, short in fermentation period, and convenient in operation process. The humification coefficient of the prepared organic fertilizer reaches over 80%, and the total nutrient content thereof is over 5.8%. However, the humification coefficient of an organic fertilizer prepared by the conventional fermentation method is only about 50%, and the total nutrient content thereof is smaller than 5.0%. Therefore, the prepared fertilizer is better in quality, and the fermentation period thereof is shortened by 30-35 days compared with the conventional fermentation method on the condition that the humification coefficients in the two methods are both 50%. As a result, the economic benefit is more obvious.
