The invention discloses a flexural guided wave monitoring method applied to early warning the break of a
tailings pond dam body. The method comprises the steps of 1, determining the position of a monitoring point along the span direction of a fill dam on the basis of fully analyzing existing
engineering data and performing geological surveying and mapping; 2, drilling a hole at the position of the monitoring point and pre-embedding a
waveguide rod array: 1, drilling the hole at the position of the monitoring point and pre-embedding a PVC
pipe; 2, selecting a
waveguide rod; 3, determining the number N of the
waveguide rods; 4, placing the waveguide rods at the central position of the PVC
pipe; and 5, plugging the opening with a rubber plug; 3, installing a flexural guided wave sensor; 4, building a
signal collection
base station; 5, collecting signals; and 6, analyzing and
processing data. The flexural guided wave monitoring method applied to early warning the break of the
tailings pond dam body provided by the invention has the advantages of low labor cost, all-weather automatic monitoring, simple and easy to operate and simple in
data analysis, and has fewer error factors and relatively high detection accuracy.
