Experimental results show that after adding the OTC, the ratios of the exchangeable forms of Cd, Cr, Cu, Pb and Zn to the bound form of carbonate are all remarkably increased. By adding the OTC, the bio-available forms of the heavy metal in the compost are increased, and the non-bio-available forms are reduced, and activation is realized for the heavy metal in the compost.
