The dry-method lump coal sorting device comprises a vibration queuing and feeding device, a lump raw coal slide way, CMOS image acquisition devices, lens dust removers, an image post-processing device, a signal transmission and control system, baffles, a controller, a clean coal channel, a middling coal channel and a gangue channel, wherein lump raw coals with granularities of 50-150mm are queued through the vibration queuing and feeding device, and then fed to the corresponding lump raw coal slide way, each CMOS image acquisition system acquires lump raw coal images at a speed of 3-8fps, the images are transmitted to a background image processing system, the system carries out feature extraction and grey-level calculation on the images, divides ashes into three threshold value ranges, converts signals with grey-level differences to electric signals, and then controls the angles of the baffles to guide clean coal, middling coal and gangue in the corresponding collection channels. The dry-method lump coal sorting device has the following advantages: dry-method sorting can be realized, dependence on water can be reduced, and sorting of lump coals in arid regions can be achieved; and the equipment is small in size, low in energy consumption, and capable of improving raw coal sorting accuracy and automation degree.
