The invention discloses a low-pressure gas
combustion method and a
combustor using the same, and particularly relates to a gas
combustion method for the primary reformer of a
methanol device and a
combustor for the reformer. The gas
combustion method comprises a step of conveying
coke-oven gas and a high-pressure gas in the
combustor in a volume ratio of (30% to 80%): (20% to 70%); the combustor comprises a central tube, and an outer sleeve wrapping the central tube; and the high-pressure gas is ejected from the central tube of the combustor, and the
coke-oven gas is ejected from the interlayer of the outer sleeve and the central tube, so that an injection effect is acted on the
coke-oven gas via the high-pressure gas, and the ejection
momentum of the
flame generated after mixed combustion is 23000 (kgm / s) / MW to 36000 (kgm / s) / MW. Via the gas combustion method disclosed by the invention, the heat of combustible gases contained in the coke-oven gas can be adequately utilized under the condition that a compressor is not utilized, thus reducing
energy investment, adequately utilizing the calorific value of the coke-oven gas, and avoiding resource waste.
