The invention relates to a method for preparing ionic liquid type gel polymer electrolyte through home position polymerization. The method comprises the following steps: taking acrylonitrile and polyethylene glycol dimethyl acrylic acid ester as monomers, taking ethylene carbonate as an organic plasticizer, taking azo diisobutyl cyanogen as an initiator, taking lithium perchlorate as a lithium salt, adding ionic liquid 1-butyl-3-methylimidazole tetrafluoborate as the component of the electrolyte, and adopting a free radical initiation and home polymerization mode to prepare the stable ionic liquid type gel polymer electrolyte. The home polymerization mode has a simple and feasible process, and is capable of directly assembling a lithium cell while simultaneously preparing the electrolyte. The prepared ionic liquid type gel polymer electrolyte has higher room temperature conductivity, good dimensional stability and mechanic properties, and can also be applied to dye sensitization solar cells. The prepared ionic liquid type gel polymer electrolyte cell can avoid the leakage and volatilization of the electrolyte and improve the safety of the cell.

Preparation method of semi-interpenetrating network polymer gel electrolyte membrane

The invention provides a preparation method of a semi-interpenetrating network polymer gel electrolyte membrane. The method comprises the following steps: (A) adding a linear polymer and a solvent to a sample bottle, stirring and dissolving the linear polymer and the solvent, adding polyethylene glycol dimethyl acrylic ester, vinylene carbonate and a photoinitiator, and mixing the polyethylene glycol dimethyl acrylic ester, the vinylene carbonate and the photoinitiator evenly to form a solution; (B) coating a glass plate with the solution, covering a layer of glass plate to form a sandwich structure, and curing the sandwich structure to obtain an ultraviolet-cured semi-interpenetrating network polymer membrane; and (C) immersing the ultraviolet-cured semi-interpenetrating network polymer membrane into liquid electrolyte. According to the gel electrolyte provided by the invention, the balance between the ionic conductivity and the mechanical property is relatively well realized; the ionic conductivity at room temperature can be up to 1.49*10<-3>S cm<-1>; the mechanical property is good; the heat stability is good; the electrolyte can be prevented from leaking; the interface stability is good; and a lithium iron phosphate / metal lithium battery assembled by the gel polymer electrolyte membrane has excellent cycle performance and rate performance.

Synthesis of biocompatible nanocomposite hydrogels as a local drug delivery system

Nanocomposite biocompatible hydrogels (NCHGs) may be synthesised as model systems for in situ cured local drug delivery devices for treatment of inter alia periodontal infections. The composite includes the following components: nanoparticles (NPs), a matrix gel, and chlorhexidine (CHX) or other antibacterial drug. The NPs were obtained by free radical initiated copolymerization of the monomers, 2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate (HEMA) and polyethyleneglycol dimethacrylate (PEGDMA), in aqueous solution. The same monomers were used to prepare crosslinked matrices by photopolymerization. NCHGs were obtained by mixing NPs, monomers, and drug in an aqueous solution then crosslinked by photopolymerization.
