Composition for preventing and treating alopecia
This invention relates to a composition comprising shikimic acid and ursolic acid, wherein the shikimic acid is preferably present in the form of anise extract containing 5% to 40% by weight, preferably 9.8% to 30% by weight, more preferably 9.8% to 20% by weight of shikimic acid; and the ursolic acid is independently present in the form of holy basil extract containing 0.1% to 5% by weight, preferably 1% to 3% by weight, more preferably 1% to 2% by weight of ursolic acid. The invention also discloses the cosmetic use of the composition in promoting rational hair growth, and the use of the composition in preventing and treating hair loss.
