The invention discloses an apparatus and a method used for
radar online detection of the
surface shape of a
blast furnace burden surface. The apparatus comprises a
radar detector, an on-site control box, a
power conditioner, an indoor control box, a display, an industrial computer and a single converter; the
radar detector is connected to the industrial computer by the on-site control box; the radar
detector, the on-site control box and the indoor control box are connected successively in series so as to form a
branch circuit which is connected to the industrial computer; the industrial computer is connected to the display and the
signal converter respectively; the
power conditioner is connected to the indoor control box. The method comprises following steps:
radar signals are emitted and received by
ranging radars, and are transferred to the industrial computer; the height of the
blast furnace burden surface is calculated by the industrial
computer based on obtained parameters, and a shape model of the
blast furnace burden surface is built; real parameters and prescribed technology parameters are compared by the industrial computer, and if the difference of the real parameters and the prescribed technology parameters excesses a set value, an
alarm device is triggered. The method of the invention is capable of realizing real-time and accurate detection of the height and the
surface shape of the blast furnace burden surface by using radar
ranging technology.
