The invention discloses an antimicrobial and antidandruff composition and application thereof. The antimicrobial and antidandruff composition can provide the high-efficiency effect of dandruff removal and sterilization, overcome the defect that the effects of dandruff removal, sterilization and itching relieving are not obvious due to the single use of any one component in the composition under the same condition, and play an excellent role in the dandruff removal, sterilization and itching relieving; and the zinc pyridine thione and the hexamidine isethionate have the synergic effect on the using effect, and the composition is used in products under the same using condition and using amount to reduce the amount used when only single component in the composition is used effectively, so the effects of the dandruff removal and itching relieving can be achieved.
