The invention relates to a portable central processing unit (CPU) controlled high-power electric welding machine. The electric welding machine comprises a CPU control circuit board, a radiator, an air fan and a shielding layer which are arranged in a shell; and a high-frequency resonant soft switch circuit which consists of four insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) power transistors Q1, Q2, Q3 and Q4, two resonant inductors L1 and L2, a high-frequency transformer T1, two fast recovery diodes D1 and D2, an input filter capacitor C1, a resonant capacitor C2, an output filter capacitor C3 and a ferrite reactor L3 is also arranged in the shell. The CPU control circuit is adopted to realize digital button operation, a pulse width modulation (PWM) wave form is output by CPU given control current to control a driving transformer, the on/off of the IGBT power transistors is regulated to control the high-frequency transformer to do work, rectification is performed by the fast recovery diodes, the resonant inductors and the resonant capacitors play a role in realizing resonant frequency and feeding back energy, and the resonant frequency and the energy are finally output by the ferrite reactor. The CPU centralized control is realized; moreover, the high-power electric welding machine has low fault rate, high insulativity, a good dust blocking effect and long service life, is convenient to operate, saves energy, reduces consumption, prevents interference, and is low in production cost and use cost.
