The invention provides burn gel for smearing. A formula comprises the following components of rhizoma polygoni cuspidati coarse
powder,
rhizoma coptidis coarse
powder,
borneol, glycerin,
potassium sorbate, hydroxypropyl
methyl cellulose and
purified water. A method for preparing the burn gel for the smearing comprises the following steps of extracting a liquid
medicine from the rhizoma polygoni cuspidati coarse
powder and the
rhizoma coptidis coarse powder by adopting water-bath
reflux equipment, filtering out dregs, carrying out vacuum concentration on the liquid
medicine, filtering out impurities, adding 58 percent of the
purified water in the components into the liquid
medicine, and uniformly concocting an obtained first mixture; adding the
potassium sorbate into an extracting solution from which the impurities are filtered out to dissolve the
potassium sorbate, so as to obtain a phase I; taking and mixing the hydroxypropyl
methyl cellulose with the glycerin uniformly, adding an obtained second mixture into 38 percent of the
purified water in the components to dissolve the obtained second mixture, and making an obtained third mixture stand for 12 hours, so as to obtain a phase II; heating the phase I to 50 DEG C, then adding the phase I into the phase II, uniformly agitating an obtained fourth mixture, adding
borneol fine powder into the agitated fourth mixture, finally, adding the rest of the purified water in the components into an obtained fifth mixture, agitating uniformly and cooling an obtained sixth mixture so as to obtain the burn gel. When in use, the burn gel for the smearing is smeared at an affected part twice a day, has no side effects, has the effects of detoxifying, deswelling, reducing the generation of
scars and reliving pain, and is used for promoting the quick healing of a
wound surface.
