195 results about "Lactobacillus fabifermentans" patented technology

Lactobacillus fabifermentans is a member of the genus Lactobacillus, the most diverse genus among lactic acid bacteria (LAB), a group of Gram-positive bacteria that produce lactic acid as their major fermented end product and that are often involved in food fermentation. L. fabifermentans was proposed in 2009 as a new species, after the type strain LMG 24284T (DSM 21115T) has been isolated from Ghanaian cocoa fermentation. Analysis of the 16S rRNA gene sequence demonstrated that this species is a member of the Lactobacillus plantarum species group but further analysis demonstrated that it is possible to differentiate it from the nearest neighbors by means of DNA-DNA hybridization experiments, pheS sequence analysis, whole-cell protein electrophoresis, fluorescent amplified fragment length polymorphism analysis and biochemical characterization.

Probiotic composition for livestock and poultry

A probiotic composition used for livestock and poultry can overcome micro dysbiosis, decreased disease resistance and production performance of livestock and poultry, and the side effects like drug resistance and drug residue which are caused by using antibiotics and chemical drugs in a large amount for a long time in feed. The probiotic composition contains effective components with the following weight portions: 3 to 10 portions of Lactobacillus acidophilus, 2 to 6 portions of yeast, 1 to 8 portions of bacillus subtilis, 3 to 8 portions of Bifidobacterium longum, 2 to 5 portions of bacillus licheniformis, and 1 to 4 portions of aspergillus oryzae and vector. The weight ratio of probiotic to vector is 2:7, and the content of the active compositions are that: greater than or equal to 8 billion/g of Lactobacillus acidophilus, greater than or equal to 7 billion/g of yeast, greater than or equal to 9 billion/g of bacillus subtilis, greater than or equal to 9 billion/g of Bifidobacterium longum, greater than or equal to 6 billion/g of bacillus licheniformis and greater than or equal to 6 billion/g of aspergillus oryzae, respectively. The probiotic composition of the invention can reduce lead content in animal products, achieve the purpose of producing green and harmless animal products, promote growth and development of animal and increase animal digestibility to feed.

Method for producing fermented soybean meal by two-step inoculation segmented solid-state fermentation

The invention provides a method for producing fermented soybean meal by two-step inoculation segmented solid-state fermentation. The method comprises the following steps of: inoculating the mixed bacterial solution obtained by mixing bacillus subtilis solution, candida mycoderma bacteria solution and lactobacillus solution in peeled soybean meal and performing mixed fermentation; and inoculating the lactobacillus solution in the fermented product, mixing, and performing anaerobic fermentation to obtain the fermented soybean meal. The method is capable of meeting the different needs of aerobic bacteria and anaerobic bacteria, can be used for preparing high-quality fermented soybean meal, and is free of chemical additives; due to the various digestive enzymes, organic acids, medium and small molecular proteins (functional peptides), amino acids, vitamins, probiotics and the like generated during the fermentation process, the nutritive value of the soybean meal is greatly increased; the prepared fermented soybean meal contains not less than 16% of soybean peptide, not more than 25mg/g of glycinin, not more than 20mg/g of beta-conglycinin, not less than 3.5% of lactic acid, and not less than 2*10<9> beneficial viable bacteria; and microbial source nutrients are beneficial to the maintenance of intestinal structure and can promote immunologic function and improve animal production performance.

Porcine lactobacillus reuteri lyophilized preparation and preparation method thereof

The invention relates to a porcine lactobacillus reuteri lyophilized preparation and a preparation method thereof, belonging to the field of application of microbes. The porcine lactobacillus reuteri lyophilized preparation is characterized in that a protective agent in the lyophilized preparation comprises the following ingredients in percentage by weight: 10 percent of skimmed milk, 0.1 percent of sodium glutamate, 0.3 percent of cysteine, 10 percent of fucose, 8 percent of lactose, 10 percent of dextrine and the balance of water. Proved by experiments, the porcine lactobacillus reuteri lyophilized preparation of the invention can increase the viable lactobacillus content in nursery pig feces, can reduce the content of colon bacillus, and has the effect of improving the average daily gain and immunity of the nursery pigs. The lyophilized preparation prepared by the method of the invention has the viable bacteria count not less than 109cfu/g, and the viable bacteria survival rate is higher than 75 percent after the lyophilized preparation is stored for 90 days. The invention also provides an optimized culture medium for lactobacillus reuteri, and the viable bacteria count is six times higher than that that of the viable bacteria cultured on the conventional culture medium (Magnetic Resonance Spectrum (MRS) culture medium).

Microorganism of the genus Lactobacillus capable of binding to S. mutans and compositions comprising the same

The present invention relates to a microorganism belonging to the group of lactic acid bacteria characterized in that it is capable of specifically binding to Streptococcus mutans, wherein the specific binding is (i) resistant to heat treatment; and/or (ii) resistant to protease treatment; and/or (iii) calcium-dependent; and/or (iv) formed within a pH range between 4.5 and 8.5; and/or (v) formed in the presence of saliva. Preferably, the specific binding can be assayed as follows: (a) growing said microorganism to stationary phase; (b) mixing said microorganism with Streptococcus mutans which has been grown to stationary phase; (c) incubating the mixture obtained in step (b) under conditions allowing the formation of aggregates of said microorganism and Streptococcus mutans and (d) detecting aggregates by the occurrence of a pellet. Another aspect of the present invention is an analog or fragment of said microorganism which is thermally inactivated or lyophilized, wherein said analog or fragment retains the capability of specifically binding to Streptococcus mutans. In addition, the present invention encompasses compositions and additives for food, feed or drinks comprising the microorganism belonging to the group of lactic acid bacteria which specifically bind to Streptococcus mutans or an analog or fragment thereof. Moreover, uses of said microorganism or said analog or fragment thereof for the preparation of an anticariogenic or pharmaceutical composition or anticariogenic food or feedstuff as well as methods for producing said compositions or food or feedstuff are provided by the present invention.
