This invention discloses a low-temperature carbon dioxide high-expansion foam dust suppression system and method for ore pass unloading. The dust suppression system includes a first high-expansion foam generator and a second high-expansion foam generator at the ore pass unloading port and ore bin, respectively. A foaming dust suppressant is mixed with inert carbon dioxide gas and a sulfide ore inhibitor to create foam with both dust suppression and ore spontaneous combustion inhibition properties. Because the foam contains an ore inhibitor, the spontaneous combustion tendency of ore dust upon contact with the foam is effectively reduced. Simultaneously, after the foam bursts, the low-temperature carbon dioxide gas within it lowers the ambient temperature and oxygen concentration within the ore pass, creating a low-temperature, low-oxygen environment and reducing the risk of ore spontaneous combustion and agglomeration within the ore pass. Furthermore, the low-temperature carbon dioxide generates natural convection, inducing airflow within the ore pass and accelerating foam diffusion. Therefore, this invention's low-temperature carbon dioxide high-expansion foam dust suppression system achieves synergistic prevention and control of dust and ore spontaneous combustion within the ore pass.
