This invention provides a method for preparing a
quartz crucible with low bubble
expansion rate, belonging to the field of
quartz crucible production technology. The method includes: S1, pouring
quartz sand into a mold and using centrifugal molding to form a
crucible bubble layer and a transparent layer, wherein the crucible bubble layer uses coarse-grained quartz sand, and the crucible transparent layer uses fine-grained quartz sand; S2, inserting the formed quartz sand along with the mold into a melting chamber and starting a
vacuum pump to evacuate to a predetermined pressure; S3, igniting an arc in the mold, and during the formation of the crucible transparent layer, performing a first stage of high-temperature melting on the quartz sand using a first preset power; S4, in the later stage of melting, performing a second stage of high-temperature melting on the quartz sand using a second preset power, and after the second stage of high-temperature melting, removing the mold to obtain a
quartz crucible with low bubble
expansion rate. This invention, through the combination of quartz sand particle
size matching and melting power adjustment, ultimately prepares a
quartz crucible with low bubbles and low bubble
expansion rate.
