The invention relates to a plaster for treating cervical spondylosis and lumbar disc herniation. The plaster is prepared from the following crude drugs: velvet antlers, rhizoma drynariae, angelica sinensis, radix dipsaci, rhizoma cibotii, garden balsam stems, radix aconite agrestis, eucommia ulmoides, radix achyranthis bidentatae, pawpaw, parasitic loranthus, rhizoma curculiginis, radix paeoniae rubra, peach kernels, safflowers, rhizoma corydalis, cinnamon, radix bupleuri, olibanum, myrrh, radix angelicae pubescentis, herba ephedrae, lucid ganoderma, radix angelicae, rhizoma cyperi, lychee seeds, native copper, centipedes, scorpions, liquorice, radix clematidis, ground beeltle, 15g of panax pseudoginseng, mulberry twigs, dogwoods, astragalus, cordyceps sinensis, radix puerariae and curcuma longa. The plaster is prepared through the following steps of weighing the crude drugs (except for the olibanum, the myrrh, the centipedes and the scorpions), soaking with sesame oil for 3-5 days, then, heating to fry until decoction dregs become black and filter residues are clarified, and continuing to decoct until oil droplets cannot be dispersed after oil is dropped into water; adding yellow lead, decocting until smoking, and stopping heating; drying, grinding and adding the olibanum, the myrrh, the centipedes and the scorpions, uniformly stirring, and completely dissolving the olibanum and the myrrh; spreading paste on cloth to prepare the plaster. The plaster has the effect of strengthening vital qi to eliminate pathogenic factors and is remarkable in curative effect.
