The invention provides a pharmaceutical composition for inhibiting bacteria and a preparation method thereof, and the pharmaceutical composition is prepared from the following pharmaceutical raw materials in parts by weight: 1 part of Chinese gall, 1-5 parts of garden burnet root, 4-12 parts of humifuse euphorbia herb and 1-8 parts of fructus forsythiae. The composition can effectively inhibit pathogenic aeromonas veronii and be further used for preventing and treating bacterial diseases of fish caused by the bacteria. The invention further provides an application of the pharmaceutical composition in the preparation of drug for inhibiting the aeromonas veronii.

The invention relates to a method for extracting forsythin and forsythoside from forsythia leaves. The method comprises the steps of: taking forsythia leaves as raw materials, and firstly carrying out extraction, concentration and separation with hot water, thus obtaining rough forsythin extract and rough forsythoside extract liquid; extracting the forsythin extract with ethyl acetate, and carrying out recrystallization with alcohol, thus obtaining a forsythin product with purity of 99 percent; and extracting, concentrating and drying the rough forsythoside extract liquid with water-saturatedn-butyl alcohol, thus obtaining a rough forsythoside product with purity more than 40 percent, or more than 90 percent through further purification. The method is simple for process, high in raw material utilization ratio, high in purity of the product and suitable for industrial production.
