A sub-band antenna matching method and an antenna matching system for selectively matching a communication bandwidth segment impedance have been provided. The method comprises: accepting a frequency-dependent impedance from an antenna; and, selectively supplying a conjugate impedance match for the antenna at a sub-band of a first communication band. In some aspects, the method selectively supplies a conjugate impedance match for the antenna at a sub-band of a second communication band. More specifically, the method comprises: tuning a first tuning circuit to a first frequency; simultaneously tuning a second tuning circuit to a second frequency to match the antenna at a low end of the first communication band. Likewise, the first tuning circuit is tuned to a third frequency and the second tuning circuit is tuned to a fourth frequency to match the antenna at a high end of the first communication band in response to the third and fourth frequencies.

A similarity score is determined between weight vectors of the query and documents in a corpus by determining a product of a document weight vector, a query weight vector and the weight matrix.

Further, a phase advancing controller adjusts phases of the driving waveform, and performs phase-advancing control such that each phase of back electromotive forces induced in respective phase-coils generally coincides with a phase of the ac running through the coils. In phase-advancing controlling, a phase current is detected with a common current. The structure discussed above can reduce torque ripples, vibrations and noises, and a motor thus can be driven efficiently.

Radio frequency textile drying machine

A textile drying machine comprises a tank for receiving textiles with a spindle inside the tank for supporting the textiles, and a solid-state radio frequency generator. The generator is connected to the spindle and the tank is earthed so that when the generator is operated an oscillating electric field is generated between the spindle and the tank, and hence applied to textiles on the spindle. The electric field heats water molecules in the textiles by molecular vibration so that evaporation occurs, and the water vapor is removed from the tank by an extractor fan. The machine may also be used to dye the textiles prior to drying, thus providing an integrated dyeing / drying machine.

A method for transmitting video information is shown, in which at least a first bit-stream (510) and a second bit-stream are formed. The first bit-stream (510) includes a video frame, and the second bit-stream (520) includes a predictive video frame (524). Different encoding parameters are used with encoding of the frames of the first bit-stream (510) and the second bit-stream (520). A frame of the first bit-stream (510) is transmitted, and the transmission is switched over from the first (510) to the second bit-stream (520) during which a secondary switching frame (550) is transmitted encoded using the encoding parameters of the second bit-stream (520) and at least one reference frame from the first bit-stream (510). The secondary switching frame (550) is used as a reference frame in the reconstruction of the predictive video frame (524) of the second set of video frames.
