chelation rate of a
methionine hydroxy
metal chelate, which comprises the following steps: taking two same
methionine hydroxy
metal chelate samples to be detected, respectively performing volume metering and ultrasonic extraction by using
diethyl ether to obtain a first extract and a second extract, measuring the
mass content w1 of free
methionine hydroxyls in the first extract liquor, measuring the
mass content w2 of
metal ions in the second extract liquor, and meeting the condition that w2 is equal to 0, wherein w1 is the
mass content of free methionine hydroxyls in the first extract liquor, and w2 is the
mass content w2 of metal ions in the second extract liquor; taking a methionine hydroxyl
raw material sample for preparing the methionine hydroxyl
metal chelate sample to be detected, measuring the total methionine hydroxyl
mass content as w3, and calculating the
chelation rate according to the formula that the
chelation rate is equal to (w3-w1) / w3 * 100%. According to the present invention, the
diethyl ether is adopted as the extraction
solvent, such that the detection error caused by the large separation difficulty of the free-state methionine hydroxylate and the binding-state methionine hydroxylate during the detection process is improved, and the detection accuracy is improved.
