The invention relates to a method for strengthening lithium-aluminum-silicon glass. The method comprises the following steps: selecting lithium-aluminum-silicon glass; mixing 4-10 wt% of HF, 4-7 wt% of HNO3 and 85-95 wt% of water according to the mass ratio to obtain a corrosion mixed solution; putting lithium aluminum silicon glass into the corrosive mixed solution; taking out the lithium-aluminum-silicon glass and washing the lithium-aluminum-silicon glass; preheating the lithium aluminum silicon glass; preparing a salt solution; placing the lithium-aluminum-silicon glass in the salt solution, and preserving heat for 12-36 hours at the temperature of 400-430 DEG C; taking out the lithium aluminum silicon glass, and dripping salt for 5-10 minutes; after salt dripping is completed, performing air cooling; spraying a citric acid solution on the surface of the lithium-aluminum-silicon glass, and wiping the lithium-aluminum-silicon glass; and cleaning the lithium aluminum silicon glass. The glass strength can be greatly improved, the ion exchange time is shortened, the strengthening efficiency is improved, the use time of the salt solution is prolonged, the replacement frequency of the salt solution is reduced, and the production cost is greatly reduced.
