The invention discloses a feed suitable for
tooth grinding of pets and a preparation method of the feed. The feed is prepared through the following steps of mixing 7-10 parts of spirulina with 4-7 parts of lindley
eupatorium herbs and 6-9 parts of
ficus tikoua roots, adding distilled liquor, performing cooking with a mild fire for 10-40min, and performing filtering so as to obtain a filtrate; adding 6-9 parts of
bauhinia, 10-13 parts of folium syringae, 5-8 parts of
starch, 5-10 parts of
bone meal and 10-15 parts of
animal protein, performing uniform mixing, performing stewing for 10-40min, placing the stewed material in a steam pot, and performing cooking in the manner of separating cooked materials from water until the filtrate is completely absorbed; placing the materials absorbing thefiltrate and 0.5-2 parts of table salt in a hot
air dryer, performing sufficient
drying under 60-75 DEG C, performing
grinding to obtain
fine powder, and performing screening to obtain
fine powder; and adding the obtained
fine powder, 2-5 parts of glycerin and 14-17 parts of silk
fibroin to 8-10 parts of
polylactic acid, performing uniform mixing to obtain a mixture, loading the mixture in the pot, performing heating to 100 DEG C, performing
drying, and performing mixed compression moulding at the temperature of 130-150 DEG C for 20-30min so as to obtain the feed. The feed not only has enoughhardness, but also has certain tenacity, does not swell easily when being in contact with water, is long in preservation time, does not become mildewed and deteriorate easily, and is suitable for repeated chewing and
tooth grinding in the feeding process of the pets.
