The invention discloses a preparation method of a zero-valent Pd / Cu modified moso bamboo biomorphic 
composite material and an application thereof. The method comprises the following steps: washing the moso bamboos 
cut into strips with deionized water, 
drying the moso bamboos, calcining the moso bamboos in a tubular furnace in a 
nitrogen atmosphere at 600 DEG C for 4 hours, and cooling, 
grinding and sieving the moso bamboos to obtain moso bamboo carbon; weighing PdCl2 and CuCl2 with different 
mass ratios, adding the PdCl2 and the CuCl2 into a 100mL glass 
bottle with a plug, dissolving the PdCl2 and the CuCl2 with 50mL of deionized water, weighing 0.5600 g of moso bamboo carbon, adding the moso bamboo carbon into the glass 
bottle, plugging a sealing plug, introducing 
nitrogen for 20 minutes, and then carrying out ultrasonic treatment for 1 hour; and weighing excessive NaBH4, dissolving the NaBH4 in 20mL of deionized water, dropwise adding the NaBH4 by using a dropper, oscillating the NaBH4 at the rotating speed of 130rpm for 30 minutes, repeatedly cleaning the NaBH4 by using absolute ethyl 
alcohol and deionized water, carrying out suction 
filtration, and 
drying the NaBH4 in a 
drying oven at the temperature of 40 DEG C to obtain the zero-valent Pd / Cu modified moso bamboo biomorphic 
composite material. The preparation process is simple, the cost is low, a good removal effect on 
nitrate in water is achieved, the material after the electrocatalytic reduction reaction can be recycled through suction 
filtration, and the utilization effect is high.
