The invention relates to a polydopamine modified
coating facilitating battery heat dissipation. The polydopamine modified
coating is characterized by being prepared by dissolving
dopamine into an
aqueous solution with the pH of 7.5 to 11, and polymerizing. The polydopamine
coating comprises the following main substances in percentage by weight: 0-10% of dihydroxy indole, 1%-5% of 2-indolinone, 0-20% of
dopamine monomer, and 0-99.99% of polydopamine. A coating substrate is
inorganic particles, a
metal material and an organic material, wherein the coating is generated by self-polymerizing
dopamine solution on the substrate, or by comprising the following steps: self-polymerizing dopamine from the dopamine solution in the solution, centrifuging, standing, filtering, cleaning and
drying to obtain polydopamine
powder particles, then dissolving the
powder particles into
slurry and coating. The generated
powder particles containing dihydroxy indole, 2-indolinone, dopamine
monomer and polydopamine are prepared into the coating by utilizing the heat absorption characteristic, thus being applied onto the interior of a diaphragm, a
pole piece and a battery case, and by utilizing the heat absorption and heat conduction effects of the polydopamine coating, the heat inside the battery can be effectively dissipated, so that the heat dissipation purpose is achieved.
