All of the fibers, whether operating or dummy, are held in corresponding grooves (18, 24) in a substrate (12). A cover plate (14) may be positioned thereover while a low stress glue or potting compound (22) is introduced or applied so as to completely encapsulate the fibers. The glue or potting compound will symmetrically surround all of the operating fibers whereby not only any inboard operating fibers (16′), but also the outboard operating curb fibers (16″), are symmetrically encapsulated. In this manner all of the operating fibers are subject to the same stresses and consequently will exhibit essentially the same polarization maintaining behavior. The invention is primarily beneficial with polarization-maintaining optical fibers, but will work effectively with other types of optical fibers as well, wherever stress are a concern.

According to the supersoft wet pressure-change resin and the preparation method and application thereof, by selecting and matching the proper proportion of polycarbonate, the high-temperature resistance of the resin can be greatly improved, scorching of the surfaceof synthetic leather can be prevented while the pressure change effect is achieved, by selecting polyester with different molecular weight for mixing and matching, the symmetry of a polyurethane molecular structure is lowered, better solubility is achieved compared with products made of polyester with the single molecular weight, the low-temperature resistance is good, the resin appearance is moreclear and transparent, and ethylene glycol is selected during chain extender selecting to be matched with the appropriate amount of other long-chain chain extenders.

A Control Method of Asymmetric Electro-hydraulic Proportional System Based on Model Transformation

The invention discloses a control method for an asymmetric electric-hydraulic proportional system based on model transferring. By converting a transfer function, an asymmetric mathematical model of the asymmetric electric-hydraulic proportional system is converted into a symmetric system model, the symmetry of a load flow model is achieved, and when a unified controller is adopted, responses of forward and reverse motions are identical; by means of signal conversion, the load flow model of the asymmetric system is established, and the purposes of transfer function converting and model converting are achieved, and a new established system model serves as a symmetric load flow model. The achieving method comprises the steps that a reference signal symmetrical to a proportional valve is given, after a signal is converted, a new input signal of the proportional valve is obtained, and proportional valve is controlled to work, so that load flows of the asymmetric electric-hydraulic proportional system in a proportional valve linear region in the forward motion and the reverse motion is identical; by means of the method, an asymmetric effect is eliminated by an asymmetric factor of the system through mathematical conversion, and the identical response of the asymmetric electric-hydraulic proportional system is achieved simply and intelligently.
