The invention relates to an
elastomer material and in particular relates to high-abrasion-resistance
polyurethane elastomer and a preparation method thereof. The high-abrasion-resistance
polyurethane elastomer comprises the following materials in percentage by
mass (in terms of the weight of
prepolymer): 45%-79% of polyether
polyol, 1%-5% of abrasion resisting
powder, 10%-20 of chain
extender, and 10%-30% of polyisocyanate. The preparation method of the high-abrasion-resistance
polyurethane elastomer comprises the following steps of: adding the polyether
polyol to a three-necked
bottle; heating up and dehydrating in vacuum; synthesizing the
prepolymer by adding 10%-30% of polyisocyanate after cooling; equally dividing the synthesized
prepolymer into a group A and a group B, wherein abrasion resisting
powder is added to the prepolymer A, and the abrasion resisting
powder is not added in the prepolymer B; respectively adding the components A and the B to a chain
extender and uniformly stirring; pouring a mixture to a mould for
vulcanization, de-moulding to obtain a product, then placing the product to an oven for
vulcanization; and respectively carrying out
standard test after vulcanizing for 5-10 days at the
room temperature. According to the high-abrasion-resistance
polyurethane elastomer and the preparation method thereof, ultra-high molecular weight
ethylene powder is adopted for improving the
abrasive resistance of the elastomer and tensile strength, so that the application defects at the existing stage are overcome, and the application field of polyurethane is broadened.
