The syrup is made with less than about 1.0% plasticizing agent, such as glycerin or propylene glycol. The syrup contains less than 5% water. The syrup can be made by evaporating a mixture of a sorbitol solution, a maltitol syrup and one or more polyols selected from the group consisting of mannitol, xylitol, lactitol, erythritol, hydrogenated isomaltulose, and combinations thereof. Methods of using the syrup to make chewing gum, and chewing gum products containing the syrup are also provided.

Sorbitol from a biological radical is used as a raw material to prepare the isosorbide directly through dehydration reaction. The method comprises the following steps: putting the catalyst into a constant temperature section of a fixed-bed reactor; introducing a reactant sorbitol solution into a reactor, and performing reaction through a catalyst bed after gasification; and separating a mixture obtained after the reaction to obtain the isosorbide. The method has simple operation process of the reaction, low production cost and light environmental pollution; the selectivity and yield of the isosorbide reaches up to 75.2 percent and 71.4 percent respectively, and the catalyst is easy to separate and recycle; and the method is a novel method which meets industrial demands and has strong practicality.

Compared with the prior art, the method disclosed by the invention has the advantages that the isosorbide produced by the method is high in yield, the number of by-products is few and the stability ishigh, so that the isosorbide preparation process is simplified, and the cost is reduced.

According to the formula, the cigarette cartridge is prepared from tobacco leaf extract, tobacco essence, a tobacco flavor, a tobacco juice solvent and deionized water, specifically, the cigarette cartridge is prepared from the following ingredients in percentage by mass: 6%-15% of the tobacco leaf extract, 8%-22% of the tobacco essence, 4%-10% of the tobacco flavor, 30%-45% of the tobacco juice solvent, and 12%-22% of the deionized water, wherein the tobacco juice solvent is prepared from the following ingredients: propylene glycol, glycerol, 1,3-butanediol, sorbitol solution and xylitol solution, specifically, the tobacco juice solvent is prepared from the following ingredients in percentage by mass: 20%-60% of propylene glycol,30%-50% of glycerol, 10%-30% of 1,3-butanediol, 1%-10% of sorbitol solution, and 1%-10% of xylitol solution. For the formula of the cigarette cartridge, improvement is carried out on the formula of the traditional cigarette cartridge, through the use of the tobacco essence and the tobacco flavor, the irritation generated when tobacco juice is smoked later is reduced, the tobacco juice solvent in the cigarette cartridge is improved, then the smoke concentration and mouth filling sense of the electronic cigarette are effectively improved, and thus the smoking of most smokers can be well satisfied.

Non-crystallizing syrups containing sorbitol and their use in chewing gum

An aqueous syrup for use in chewing gum, particularly pellet gum, comprises, on a dry basis, greater than about 98% polyols, of which i) about 50% to about 90% is sorbitol, ii) about 3% to about 30% is maltitol, iii) about 2% to about 20% are polyols, other than sorbitol and maltitol, with a degree of polymerization (DP) of 1 or 2, and iv) less than about 20% (and perhaps less than about 12%) are polyols with a DP of 3 or greater. The syrup is made with less than about 1.0% plasticizing agent, such as glycerin or propylene glycol. The syrup contains less than5% water. The syrup can be made by evaporating a mixture of a sorbitol solution, a maltitol syrup and one or more polyols selected from the group consisting of mannitol, xylitol, lactitol, erythritol, hydrogenated isomaltulose, and combinations thereof. Methods of using the syrup to make chewing gum, and chewing gum products containing the syrup are also provided.

The invention discloses a method for improving fermentation production efficiency of 2-keto-L-gulonic acid. The method comprises the following steps: inoculating a well cultured mixed bacterial liquid of ketogulonigenium vulgare and bacillus megaterium into a fermentation culture medium containing 2% of sorbitol, 1.1% of corn steep liquor, 0.2% of urea, 0.02% of magnesium sulfate and 0.05% of potassium dihydrogen phosphate, stirring the fermentation culture medium in a fermentation container at the rotational speed of 400rpm, enabling the ventilation ratio to be 1: 1, enabling the initial pH value of the culture medium to be 6.7, starting to perform flow feeding of a sorbitol solution with the concentration of 25% after 10h of the culture, and controlling the final total polysaccharide concentration of fermentation to be 10%; and regulating the pH value to 4.5-5.0 by using 50% of phosphoric acid solution, then continuously controlling the fermentation pH value to 6.7-7.3 by using 25% of sodium carbonate solution and adding casein tryptone. According to the method disclosed by the invention, the biological synthesis rate of the 2-KLG (2-keto-L-gulonic acid) by a mixed bacterial system is effectively improved, and the purpose of improving the fermentation production efficiency is achieved.

The inventive mousse type dentifrice formulation comprising the above liquid dentifrice composition is prepared by steps of: introducing the dentifrice composition comprising silver particles as essential ingredient into a foam generating receptacle with constant capacity; and drawing the composition in foam form through outlet of the receptacle in order to brush teeth.
