This invention discloses a quaternary ammonium salt-modified lignin-based epoxy resin emulsion and its preparation and application methods. It is prepared by reacting quaternary ammonium salt, epoxidized lignin, polyamine compounds, reactive diluents, organic solvents, and water. The quaternary ammonium salt and polyamines are uniformly mixed and reacted in an organic solvent under stirring.
