At the same time, the unimolecular organic film layer formed by phytic acid conversion and the coating formed from the epoxy/nano SiO2 paint have similar chemical properties, and the cohesive properties of the both are enhanced, thereby being beneficial to forming a stable and compact protective layer on the surface of the magnesium-lithium alloy to have a dual protection effect on the magnesium-lithium alloy and further improving the corrosion resistance of the magnesium-lithium alloy.
