The invention provides a sensor for distinguishing whether
corrosion defects belong to the inner surface of a pipeline or the outer surface of the pipeline. The input end of an amplification filter circuit is connected with a detection coil of a detection probe, the
signal generating output end of an integration
signal generating and
processing circuit is connected with an exciting coil of the detection probe, the
signal processing input end of the integration signal generating and
processing circuit is connected with the output end of the amplification filter circuit, a data storage circuit is connected with the
signal processing output end of the integration signal generating and processing circuit, the amplification filter circuit, the integration signal generating and processing circuit and a power supply
battery pack are arranged in a shielding box, the eddy-current effect can be produced in the wall
pipe of the oil and
gas pipeline under the action of an alternating-current excited
electromagnetic field sent out by the exciting coil, and therefore
electromagnetic induction signals received by the detection coil on the portions, with the
corrosion defects, of the inner surface of the pipeline can be different from signals on other portions,
electromagnetic induction signals received by the detection coil on different portions of the pipeline are recorded and compared, the distinguishing of the detects on the inner surface of the pipeline and the outer surface of the pipeline can be achieved, and the sensor has the advantages of being small in size, high in detection accuracy and the like.
