The invention discloses an attapulgite water purifying agent for quickly purifying a marine culture water body. The technical scheme is characterized in that the quick marine culture water purifying agent is mainly composed of attapulgite clay and rice hull. The water purifying agent is prepared through the following steps: performing PICT (pressure-shear induced chemical transitions) pulverization, soaking, stirring, extruding, drying, screening, and packaging to obtain the finished product. In the adsorptive water purifying process, the specific surface area of attapulgite is increased through a PICT technology, thus removing granular and colloid pollutants through adsorption, and effectively removing harmful substances such as key pollutants phosphorus, ammonia nitrogen, COD (chemical oxygen demand) and the like causing eutrophication of a water body. Big electrostatic attraction power and stress fields are formed outside the attapulgite modified through the PICT technology, so that the ion-exchange property is enhanced, thereby being more beneficial to adsorptive purification of harmful substances such as Hg<2+>, Pb<2+>, Cr<6+>, Cd<2+>, Cu<2+>, other heavy metal ions and the like in the water. Thus, the attapulgite water purifying agent is applicable to purification and filtration such as quick ammonium reduction, nitrogen, phosphorus and COD removal, heavy metal adsorption and the like in the marine culture process, and is also applicable to purification of a marine aquarium fish water body.
