The preparation method adopts an extrusion curtain coating-melt stretching method, and comprises the following specific steps: polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) particles are added in an extrusion curtain coating machine for curtain coating to obtain a polyphenylene sulfide base membrane; the polyphenylene sulfide base membrane is heated at 140-240 DEG C for 0.5-8 h to obtain a heat treatment membrane; and the heat treatment membrane is subjected to hot and cold drawing to generate microholes, and then heat shaping treatment is conducted to obtain the polyphenylene sulfide microporous membrane with uniform aperture size distribution and excellent microhole structure. Compared with a traditional preparation method, the preparation method is simple in process and easy to operate, no secondary component organic solvent is added in the preparation process, and no pollutant is generated so as to accord with environment-friendly production ideas; the obtained microporous membrane is excellent in size stability and mechanical strength; and the size and the distribution of the microholes can be effectively controlled through controlling the stretching temperature and the stretching ratio parameters.
