The invention provides a chitosan alginate dressing. A freeze-drying preparation method for the chitosan alginate dressing comprises the following steps: dissolving a chitosan mixture in an acid solution to prepare a mixed chitosan solution; dissolving sodium alginate in deionized water to prepare a sodium alginate solution; then blending the two solutions; adding glycerol to obtain a chitosan-sodium alginate mixed solution; subjecting the chitosan-sodium alginate mixed solution to freezing and pump drying so as to obtain a freeze-dried film; and soaking the freeze-dried film in a CaCl2 solution for crosslinking, flushing the freeze-dried film with distilled water and carrying out pump drying so as to obtain the novel chitosan alginate dressing.
