The invention discloses cation high-performance size which is made from the following raw materials: corn starch, hydroxides, trimethylamine hydrochloride and persulfate through a hybrid reaction, wherein corn starch accounts for 80%-95% by weight, calcium hydroxide and/or magnesium hydroxide account(s) for 1%-10% by weight, trimethylamine hydrochloride accounts for 1%-15% by weight, and persulfate accounts for 0.1%-15% by weight. The cation high-performance size has the advantages of strong adhesive ability, good film forming property, tough size film, and excellent elasticity; the flexibility (fatigue endurance) is improved by 3-4 times in comparison with common modified starch size; the cation high-performance size is excellent in wear-resisting and anti-aging properties; and the size has good flowability under the condition of normal temperature, and is stable in viscosity. Polyvinyl alcohol is not used. When pure cotton yarns are sized during spinning, 60-count yarns of common tightness do not need polyvinyl alcohol, and when polyester or pure cotton yarns higher than 60-count are sized, no polyvinyl alcohol is needed or only a small amount of polyvinyl alcohol is needed, so that desizing is easy, the size waste is easy to process and causes small pollution to the environment; and zero pollution emission is realized in a production process.

The invention provides a yarn foam sizing process which is characterized in that: a sizing agent comprises polyvinyl alcohol, modified starch, acrylic acid, water and a foaming agent, wherein the ratio of the total mass of the polyvinyl alcohol, the modified starch and the acrylic acid to the mass of the water is 1:(3-20), and the ratio of the volume of the foaming agent to the total volume of the other four components is (1-3):100. The sizing agent is heated to 90-120 DEG C and then cooled to 40-60 DEG C and filled into a foam maker, then the foam is sprayed from top to bottom in a position between two sizing-agent pressing rollers which rotate oppositely, and the yarn penetrates through the position between the two sizing-agent pressing rollers from bottom, wherein the pressure between the two sizing-agent pressing rollers is 12,000-20,000N. According to the process, the yarn penetrates through the position between the two sizing-agent pressing rollers from bottom, then the form is attached to the warp yarn before being properly squeezed by the sizing-agent pressing rollers, and after the foam bursts, a proper amount of sizing agent is attached to the surface of the warp yarn to form a sizing-agent film. The sizing agent is saved, the strength of the yarn is increased, the sizing agent can be well attached to the hairness on the surface of the yarn, and the wear resistance of the yarn is improved.

The invention aims at providing a preparation method of ultralow-viscosity sodium carboxymethyl cellulose which is industrially produced by adopting a kneading machine and is suitable for high-count yarn starching. The preparation method comprises the following steps of: adding ethanol and high-concentration caustic soda liquid to cotton fibre, adding a viscosity breaking agent in several times, carrying out viscosity breaking on the cotton fibre at high temperature and alkalizing the cotton fibre at the same time; adding an etherifying agent for etherification, then adding the viscosity breaking agent for viscosity breaking again after etherifying reaction, and adding sodium sulfite to reduce the residual viscosity breaking agent in the ethanol as a reaction medium and in reactants off; and neutralizing and washing, centrifuging, drying and crushing to obtain the ultralow-viscosity sodium carboxymethyl cellulose (CMC) for textile starching. The ultralow-viscosity sodium carboxymethylcellulose prepared by the preparation method disclosed by the invention has moderate substitution degree and low viscosity, wherein a B-type viscometer (Brookfield) 4% is 8-17CPS and has the purity more than 97%. The CMC solution is clear, has stable viscosity and is particularly suitable for a starching process of yarns with high and ultrahigh cotton yarn count.

According to the production method, selected warp and weft materials are as follows in parts by mass: 30-50 parts of copper ammonia fibers, 15-25 parts of linen fibers, 40-90 parts of viscose fibers, 20-40 parts of combed cotton and 8-18 parts of ultrafine fine denier polyester.
