The invention relates to an externally-applied
medicine for treating burns and scalds and a preparation method thereof. The
medicine is composed of a
traditional Chinese medicine base solution A and a
traditional Chinese medicine powder B, wherein a weight ratio of the
traditional Chinese medicine base solution A to the traditional Chinese
medicine powder B is 5: 4. The traditional Chinese medicine base solution A and the traditional Chinese medicine
powder B are mixed, fully stirred and blended to form paste which is smeared on a
wound surface and regularly replaced according to concrete symptoms, so the medicine can be used for treatment of first-degree and second-degree burns and scalds or for
adjuvant therapy of third-degree burns and scalds through combination with other conventional measures. The traditional Chinese medicine base solution A comprises the following raw traditional Chinese medicinal materials: 800 g of purslane
herb and 100 g of
green tea. The traditional Chinese medicine powder B comprises the following raw traditional Chinese medicinal materials: 6 g of dried orange peel, 8 g of
alum, 8 g of pericarpium zanthoxyli, 8 g of
catechu, 260 g of gentrin knotweed, 15 g of Chinese
mahonia leaf, 260 g of Chinese rhubarb, 12 g of chinaroot greenbrier
rhizome, 18 g of diverse wormwood
herb, 10 g of divaricate
saposhnikovia root and 5 g of white
bark of
cypress. The externally-applied medicine provided by the invention is capable of stopping bleeding, promoting coagulation, eliminating swelling, astringing sores, inhibiting and killing
bacteria, relieving pain and engendering
flesh and can be used for treatment of first-degree and second-degree burns and scalds or for
adjuvant therapy of third-degree burns and scalds through combination with other conventional measures.
