The invention discloses a novel process for coupling utilization of waste heat recovery of a riser of a coke oven and a coke dry quenching system, which comprises the steps of: combining the coke dry quenching system with a riser waste heat utilization system, using partial cooling gas (coke dry quenching recycle gas) of the coke dry quenching system to recover the heat of the riser, then sending the partial cooling gas into the middle and lower parts of a CDQ shaft to continue absorbing the heat of red coke along with other cooling gas in the CDQ shaft, and then heating a waste heat boiler to generate middle and high pressure steam further to use the steam for industries such as power generation, chemical industry, steel and the like. The process not only can recover the waste heat of raw coke oven gas in the riser, improve the grade of the energy, but also can increase the steam yield of the waste heat boiler of the coke dry quenching system. The process adopts a novel riser heat exchange device, has high heat transfer efficiency, and adopts the coke dry quenching recycle gas as medium (the coke dry quenching recycle gas is cheap and easy to obtain and cannot cause the pollution to the environment).
