The invention discloses a preparation method and application of a
rare earth magnesium alloy surface micro-arc oxidation film layer manufactured through
electric arc additive manufacturing, and relates to the technical field of additive manufacturing
light metal surface treatment. The preparation method comprises the following steps: manufacturing a
rare earth magnesium alloy through
electric arc additive manufacturing; carrying out homogenizing heat treatment on the
rare earth magnesium alloy subjected to
electric arc additive manufacturing; performing earlier-stage treatment; preparing an inner-layer alkaline
electrolyte and an outer-layer alkaline
electrolyte; and step-type
voltage micro-arc oxidation treatment: taking stainless steel as a
cathode, taking the
magnesium alloy as an
anode, sequentially putting the stainless steel and the
magnesium alloy into the inner-layer alkaline
electrolyte and the outer-layer alkaline electrolyte for micro-arc oxidation, cleaning and
drying to obtain a micro-arc oxidation film layer on the surface of the
magnesium alloy. According to the preparation method, the problems that a traditional micro-arc oxidation
coating is loose, porous, prone to
corrosion and short in service life are solved, the
corrosion resistance of the magnesium alloy is effectively improved, the magnesium alloy is prevented from volatilizing under the high-temperature condition, the working requirement of a
satellite support in the
space environment is met, and the application range of the magnesium alloy is widened.
